DEC A Devoted To Preparation Marketing and Distributive Education is a vocational program designed to prepare young men and women for careers in marketing, merchandising, and management. The high school students receive group instruction in general marketing techniques as well as individual instruction. The seniors in MDEmust have at least 15 hours of actual job experience per week under supervision of a local business person. Most senior MDE students work between 20-25 hours per week and earn S2000-S5000 during the school year. The work experience is a vital part of the total training program and the student divides his time between study in school and practical work experience.
