adufumn . . . School begins early in the fall and before long the year's schedule gets underway. The halls are crowded with confused freshmen who are con- fronted with such problems as opening stubborn lockers, finding rooms that seem to have vanished, and buying elevator tickets from upperclassmen. Every T.Fer anxiously awaits the arrival of the first social of the year where old friendships are renewed and new ones are formed. The football season starts with a burst of enthusiasm from eager spectators who gladly suffer the cold to cheer the Meteors on to victory. Midway in the season comes a very special night. It's Homecoming when T.F. alumni are welcomed back. The queen is crowned who reigns over the evening's festivities. Many hours of hard work are put out by students in preparation for the stage show and the concessions of the annual Carnival. Royalty also reigns when the Carni- val king and queen are crowned at a breathtaking ceremony. Before long the brisk winds which blow the bright colored leaves of autumn give way to the colder ones which carry tiny snowflakes. 9 A XX
