This is Miss Childs' third year as Dean of Women at Thornton Junior College. Every freshman woman has the oppor- tunity of having a personal interview with Miss Childs to discuss any problems. Sophomore women also look to Miss Childs for advice. MISS A. 12 Dr. James D. Logsdon Thornton students have sought Dean Dul- gar's guidance and advice for the past seven years. Even with his many administrative duties our Dean always finds time to help with those seemingly unsolvable problems. Dean Dulgar received his B. Ed. degree at Eastern Illinois State Teachers' College and his M. A. degree at Northwestern University. As the superintendent of Thornton Junior College, Thornton and Thornridge High Schools, Dr. J.D. Logsdon has been kept very busy. But even with his busy schedule he finds time to speak to the College student body on opening day each semester and to show a sustained interest in the College activities throughout the school year. Dr. Logsdon received his B. Ed. degree from Illinois State Normal University and his M.A. and Ph. D. degrees from the Uni- versity of Chicago. Dean Lee E. Dulgar
