The other highlights be- sides Dixon were coming in 7th with A483 pins at the Palatine Invitational and oth at the Thornridge invite with 4430 pins. One high point in Lori Lat- ta's bowling season was when she had a chance to aualify individually for State. UAfter the fourth game l had a pretty good chance, but with changing lanes and the pressure l did poor in my last 2 games, she explained. Remem- bering where to stand for different pin predicaments and where to place the bali took time and patience, Not only did we have to worry about where to stand, but we also had to keep up with new techniques that Mr. Bortel wanted us to try. Having the right arm exten- sion was pretty important because that guided the ball, explained Anessa Mil- zarek. By working together with constant practice, the bowling team ended with a respectable finish. 1
