Couples see eye to eye Weeks before the special night, girls were flipping coins trying to decide who to ask to the Annualffurnabout Dance. After hours ot shopping tor a dress, picking out flowers, and spending a couple of hours putting on the final touches, March 3 finally came. I was very ap- prehensive and happy to get it finished and was very pleased with the results, stated Mrs. Edythe Strater, club sponsor, after her first dance direction. Girls Club spent six weeks making the decorations head- ed by Sharon LaFleur, chair- man of the decorations com- mittee. Through the Eyes of Love, the theme ot the dance, was played by the band, Soutl side Connection. The ban' really set the mood for the er tire evening, stated Bob Earr shaw. The drums rolled at the hig light of the night as Ierry DL cay was announced king. Fo lowing the traditional slow dance with his date, student scattered to area restaurants t- conclude the evening.
