Talisman publishes creativity For four of the last five years Talisman has received the All American award, the highest award any high school literary magazine can achieve through the Na- tional Scholastic Press Association. The staff's main task is to publish the Talisman by selecting the very best writ- ing submitted by TR students. Staff members consist of all Creative Writing II students plus top students from Crea- tive Writing I. However, many people with special interests contribute art and photography material. . Bagpipe informs TR student body Walking beats, writing stories, draw- ing layouts, and doing paste-ups are a few of the many activities at which Bag- pipe staff members work to create TRfs weekly newspaper. Led by editor-in-chief Bruce Hall and managing editor Diane Whiting, the staff 'worked hard to bring TR students inter- esting, informative reading, despite the problem of weekly deadlines. Bagpipe's major change was a switch back to the traditional four-page layout from last year's eight-page magazine style paper. I 1165 azwftacw f .vm-fix. Q' XX f 2 X , 5 x f -Qx,?5 ini.. L..
