TR: Our world of sunshine Thunder and lightning still hit Thorn- ridge, but lately, everything has become more easy-going and peaceful. We did not come across much turbulence in 1974-1975. TR's attendance boundaries did not change, administration decisions were not earth-shaking, and class peri- ods remained at fifty minutes in length. Over 3,300 students inhabited TR, ap- proximately the same as the previous schoolyear. The skies over TR have become brigh- ter as well as calmer. We began to see where we are and where we are going. With this new-found awareness, we could do what we felt had to be done - bear down in Algebra I, enjoy ourselves at the Flings, reach for that last ounce of energy in the Homecoming game, or maybe just find a friend under OUR WORLD OF SUNSHINE. Thornridge is you! What is TR? TR is people living, working, learning together five to seven hours each day. We all share experiences such as leaving school early when a wa- ter main breaks or self-scheduling each semester. TR is you! People, not buildings or classrooms, make TR. Some are teachers. Some are deans, counselors, or adminis- trators. All are students, learning some- thing new everyday. Above Left: Cafeteria food appears agreeable to DaveTanner. Left: Kim Gaskill relaxes with a smile in the cafeteria.
