Any Number Can Die captures first in state contest The cast of Any Number Can Die read to a first place in state competition April 4. The Death and Life of Sneaky Pitch, the contest play, advanced to sec- tionals after placing third in district competition. The contest play, The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch was a farcical western involving the death and resurrection of the town drunk. Any Number Can Die, this year's Reader's Theatre pro- duction, was a thirty minute mystery play set in the 193O's. The show dealt with seven people who assembled to hear the reading of a deceased millionaire's will. Pour of the cast members - Cynthia Wrede, Mark Zajac, Dan Forrest and Matt Piescinski received all-district awards for their outstanding acting abili- ty.
