Area youngsters are guarded on Saturdays On Saturday mornings while most students are still in bed, guard members are teaching area grade school children the basic fundamentals of swimming. High- landers meet early during the summer months to plan the Homecoming week- end from start to finish. Besides Home- coming, TR's dance committee spon- sors ten Flings and a SCOT-Highlan- der Banquet. Under the guidance of Mirs. A. Sumpter, 144 Highlanders have made a success of these activities which provide SCOT with its financial support. Although members are selected on the basis of teacher recommendations, one is not considered a Highlander un- til he has displayed an eagerness to work hard and accept responsibility.
