Two major events of the Girls Club are Mother-Daughter Banquet and Dad- Daughter Play-nite. This happens an- nually as Girls Club sets aside time to honor their parents with a date. Forever a Part of Me, 1974 Mother- Daughter Banquet, was held May 11. The climax of the evening was the crowning of Arletha Cherry as Quen of May Queen Court and Denise Dwyer as Maid of Honor. Patty Gorski, Girls Club president, introduced the 1974-75 officers. Fathers and daughters joined for a night of fun and games at the annual Dad-Daughter Play-nite Nov. 2. The sounds of bouncing basketballs, volley- balls, and ping-pong balls filled F Build- ing, along with a sprinkling of laughter. The girls also treated their fathers to a swim in the pool or a game of cage ball. Less strenuous play included cards, checkers, and Scrabble.
