Pom Pons change Hard work and a lot of practice are what it takes to make the performances of TR's Pom Pon squad run smoothly. Although the majority of new routines are devised by the officers, this year's squad presented two novelty perform- ances, one of which was the square dance that the Pom Pons presented at the size and repertoire Homecoming assembly, in which the girls chose guys to partner them. The '75 squad featured 39 girls includ- ing eight seniors and was sponsored by Mrs. Sabre Fette. The girls had eight per- formances, including two combined per- formances with Lassies, Cheerleaders and Twirlers. i i ,,N,,,,,,.vf , -:gr . SCDT blends old with new Spirit Hour was an hour of free time given to students as a reward for their participation in school activities and high overall school spirit. It was spon- sored by Student Council of Thornridge, as were countless other activities. SCOT brought into TR a junior-senior trip to Hawaii and livened up the Christ- mas pep assembly with the reindeer skit. Halloween was celebrated with a dress-up day. While innovation was the keyword for this year's student council, President Mike Wray and company did not neglect the SCOT traditions - the Christmas baskets and SCOT Day were every bit as successful as in years past. is Top: SCOT Officers: Carol Gilbert trecording sec.J, Bob Warner 12nd v. pres.j, Mike Wray lpresjl, Hollie Nelson ttreasj, Ken Zartler tlst v. pres.J, Debbie Wiltjer tcorres pnncling sec.J ' 'tmf Above: Karen Nelson, Bob Warner and Debbie Wiltjer organize upcoming SCOT Day activities.
