ine ln 0rgan1zat1ons Practicing for a performance in Las- sies, Pom Pons, Choir, or Band, selling candy for Girls Club, making Homecom- ing decorations in Highlanders, learning lines for a play in Theatre, rushing to meet a deadline in Piper or Bagpipe, hanging a banner in Pep Club, matching a routine to music in Twirlers, selling Mums for FTA, collecting toys for hos- pitalized children in Boys Club, or ar- ranging a talent show in PUBS - meet- ing new people, making new friends, and working together is what comes from being a part of any organization in TR's World of Sunshine.

WILDCAYS Dancing excels with Lassie pride Although the Lassies have been a tra- dition for years, they have not remained the sarne. Their outfits have evolved from the blackwatch plaid knee length skirts of 1963 to the red plaid six inches above the knee skirts of today. Now three cuts and many perform- ances later, of the 300 girls who tried out, only 64, the largest number ever, remain. Lassies help promote school spirit as well as entertain by performing at half time. The Lassies were led this year by Captain Nancy Murphy and Co-captain Debbie Rothbard.
