Girls track survives rough weather Three girls - Pat Maloy in the 50-yd. dash, Debbie Morgan in the 80-yd. low hurdles and high jump, and Mary Lou Prisby in the shot put - went downstate this year. In the district meet at TR, the girls placed fourth out of 18 schools. The track team's season record was 4-3. Most Valuable Players were Rhonda Cobbs, Cynthia Harris, Pat Maloy, Iune Merritt, Debbie Morgan, Nancy Morgan, and Mary Lou Prisby.

28 TSSG performs whirls, twirls in spring show Performing ballet legs, doing somer- saults in water, and doing kips are some of the basic stunts performed by the Thornridge Sychronized Swim Group, who specialize in water ballet. This group of 34 girls practices dili- gently from the beginning of school until the spring when their practicing pay off for their spring show.
