Girl gymnasts finish 8-1 This was the first year for optional routines in competition, and it did not hinder the TR gymnasts as they finished with a 8-1 season. Z girls go to state tourney The Thornridge Girls Tennis Team finished the season with 5 wins and 5 losses. The team received a first place trophy in the district tournament and a third place trophy in the Tinley Park Invitational. Lucy Karczynski and Debbie Burda were both undefeated in season competi- tion. ln the state tournament Lucy was defeated in the third round and Debbie lost in the first, AW?
