As we were standing in the lobby talking, we heard a noise that sounded like a jet had run into a stack of trash cans, We were informed by Jerome that it is the first of the twenty cars which are making the race from Canada to Mexico via Thornburg, We rushed outside to see who it is, and we found none other than the Digby Special with Larry The Monk Dugger behind the wheel, He has finished the first lap of the race well ahead of the rest of the contestants, He told us that he has stopped playing pro basketball with the Lakers, and is now designing and building sports cars, He also told us that he has received many medals and placques for safe driving and is in great demand as a speaker on safe driving for high school students, He was tired from his drive, so he decided to retire to his room for the night, Nothing would please Jerome, but that we visit his night club, He said he had a special table arranged for us and so we went night clubbing , Already seated at the table were Keith Tish and his bride, Keith isba large landowner over beyond the Munici- pal Airport, He and his bride had just returned from Bermuda on their honeymoon, On the way home they stopped in Detroit and picked us his new especially made custom built Buick, Keith has been such a good customer of the General Motors Corporation, that he gets his Buicks for cost, As it was getting late, we decided we had better get to bed so that we could see the rest of the Seniors the next day, After a good night's sleep, Jerome took us to the Municipal Airport to meet the T, W, A, flight from Oslo, Norway via the North Pole, Whom should we see step off the plane as the head stewardess, but Norma Grimm, She told us that she has worked for T, W, A, since graduating from Central, In her job she has met lots of interesting men and has finally decided on one, He is a test pilot and has just completed the first trip to the moon, She is planning on getting married in the fall, and her plans also call for a honeymoon on the moon , We asked her if she saw Nadine very often, and she told us whenever she was in from a flight, for Nadine is married and lives on a large estate south of town, We drove out to see her and she told us that after running a pre-school and taking care of other rich people's brats, she decided to let some other poor girls have the job, Nadine married one of the young bankers in town, and has started her two sets of twins into pre-school for someone else to help take care of, We observed that Nadine is no longer the hard worker that she was in high school, but she is quite adept at keeping her servants on the move, After refreshments at Nadine's house, we decided we should get back to the hotel and get our luggage as we had to catch the 5:45 Rocket from Thornburg. We boarded the train with sad hearts at leaving our old home town, but happy to know that the Seniors of 1955 were all doing so well, We hope to be able to see them all again in 1975, The Junior Class
