CLASS HISTORY In the year nineteen hunored and thirty-six, our class had its humble beginning. Wilma Morton is the only one remaining to graduate from that beginning class. Delbert Pendleton presented himself to the class in the second grade, The nevt to Join our class was Minnie Souer who started in the fourth grade, Four of our pres- ent classmates, Shirley Bonnater,Lo1s T1sh,V1v1an Merck, Phyllis Bonnater, entered our class when we commenced our seventh grade work, When the last year of our grade school career came around Greta Lou McGimpsey and Dar- lene Kitzman made their appearance, When the last bell rang and the green freshies took their places the roll call was 'responded toesslfollvwst Wilma Morton, Minnie Souer, Greta Lou McGimpsey, Delbert Pendleton, Billy Wilson, Bill Day, Viola Whitworth, La Vera Martens, Phyllis Bonnater, Shirley Bonnater, Lois Tish, Darlene Kitzman, Vivian Merck, Gilbert Prather, Louis Nanko, Shirley Nanke, John Loux, Orpha Grimm, Rex Bowman, Emma Butensohoen, and Shirley Cooper. Miss Gran- ston was our sponsor, Minnie Qouer and Shirley Cooper received basketball letters, Three boys, Billy Wilson, Delbert Pendleton, and Louis Nanke, received letters in baseball and basketballs Several of our members were active in the girls' glee club, Beginning with our Sophomore year, Ornha Gr1mm,Sh1rley Cooper, Rex Bowman, Billy Wilson, Gilbert Prather, Louis Nanke, and Shirley Nanke, were absent from cur Glass. Miss whyle was our sponsor, Four of the girls played on the basketball team, One of the boys played basketball and baseball, Bight of the Soohomore girls sang in the glee club, Contestants in the delcam included three of our members, In our Junior year Emma Butenscheon was missing, Roy Stigers was another addition to our class, Mrs. Tinsley Sponsored our aotivitiess The Junior Class Play was pre- sented on October 24th and 25th, The Junior-Senior Ban- quet was provided for by the Juniors of 747, Lois Tish was one of the three cheer leaders, Now, we have come to the Golden year of high school. The same thirteen Members tn our class and we are not a bit superstitious.
