Brown This is Your Life Sophomore The Sophomore class, during the year of 1972-73, car- ried out a few projects during the basketball games, the sophomores had cake raffles which surprisingly brought in quite a bit of money. A coat check was held at the Flea Market . This year the Sophomore float was quite an improvement over the last one, with Happiness is a Victory taking third place in compe- tition. Sophomore career day was rumored a success. Besides just having an all around good time during the year, the Sophomores planned and carried out a bake sale-car wash day with much success. Bruckner C. M. Domdey This Is Your Life, Freshmen Freshman year is always busy and this year was no ex- ception. As is the tradition at Thomson High School, the freshmen had initiation for a week. The Freshmen did many interesting things for the Seniors. One day they wore garlic, onions, and dill pickles around their necks. Another day, they did various things proclaim- ing Senior superiority. The fun week ended with an as- sembly on Friday of initiation week when the Fresh- men performed antics for the benefit of those who missed the antics during the week. After initiation, things were pretty quiet until after the New Year, 1973. In February, the Freshmen became infected with that dreaded disease, Float Fever. The Freshman float, A Victory is Scalping the Blackhawks, did not place but the Freshmen deserved an A for effort. As their first year in high school passes, the Freshmen can look back and say they had a memorable year. E. Dykstra G. Geerts R. Habben D. Halfman T. Hatheway G. Hartman P. Holmquist M. Hoy R.
