Senior Activities Judy and Larry At the beginning of our senior year, we began to prepare for the many activities we would encounter toward the end of the year. Class pictures were taken September 18 and the annual staff immediately began their work by selling ads. To make money, we had a car wash, several paper drives, a coat check, and a basketball game starring the Harlem Magicians and the Thomson All-Stars. We also presented a play Mother is a Freshman in Nove mber. The Prom was May 1. The juniors presented the seniors with a delicious banquet and beautiful dance. The decorations were carried out in the theme, My Blue Heaven. May 7 and 8 were the dates of the long awaited senior trip. We left for Chicago bright and early Friday morning. Among the trip highlights of the trip were O'Hare Airport, Museum of Science and Industry, My Fair Lady, a nights stay at the Harrison Hotel, shopping in the Loop, and Brookfield Zoo. Baccalaureate was May 23. On May 28, our class graduated from York Community High School with nineteen members. On May 29 we regretfully left YCHS but we left with great dreams for the future. J. A.
