Class Prophecy, cont. that Larry Grim owns a large fur-trading post in Anchorage, Alaska. We jet up to see Larry, and as we are getting ready to leave, Larry gives each of us a beautiful ermine coat. We thank him profusely and then we must be on our way back to Thomson. Upon arriving in Thomson we see a bulletin posted for a Farm Bureau meeting with a talk to be given by a U.S. Congressman from Illinois, who proves to be none other than Mick Brearton. We attend the meeting and have a very nice talk with Mick, his wife, and his six children. From Mick we learn that Marnes Hill is an Olympic ski champion and teaches skiing in the Adirondacks at an exclusive school for training future Olympic performers. Donna Feddersen is conducting an all-girl dance band in Minneapolis and is participating in a national jazz-musician festival in St. Louis. We jet down to see Donna. We meet her husband and her little son who performs on the Bongo drums. Later we jet over to see Marnes and are given a real treat, for the skiers present a night-time ski show for us with light provided by the flaming torches which each skier bears. Marnes' husband performs an outstanding jump from Daredevil Point. Her two sons and daughter take us for a ride over the mountain passes on their dog sled. Our mission accomplished, we board our jet and journey back to Florida. We are grateful to John for the help he gave us and pass on to him the recently gained knowledge of our classmates. His reply is received promptly: Eye spied; knows all. Initiation Day in 1956
