BEN AMES WlI-LlAlX1S, JR. President of the Board of Trustees At the 134th annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of Thompson Academy, Mr. Ben Ames Williams, Jr. was electea' President. Mr. Williams succeeds Mr. Calvin Page Bartlett wlzo was elected Chairman of the Corporation after 24 years of dedicated service to the school. Mr. Williams was recently elected President of the Old Colony Trust Com- pany, an allied institution of the First National Bank of Boston. He has been associated with the First since 1941. Our new President has been a Trustee of Thompson Academy for eight years and for the past three he has served as Vice President. All of us on the island wish Mr. Williams well and hope tlzat lze will hnd his new position as President of the Board a rewarding experience.
