.Zz fllenwrz2zm Mr. Alfred C. Malm of the Class of 1900 epitomized the spirit of self- reliance and responsibility that are the hallmark of this institution. Shortly after graduation from what was then known as The Farm School he was employed by the Old Colony Trust Company in Boston and rose to a position of real importance as Trust Officer with that organization. He maintained a deep and abiding faith in the fine work being done with and for the boys here and devoted 47 years of service to the school. He served as Assistant Treasurer from 1920 to 1936, as Treasurer from 1936 to 1954, and as Vice President from 1954 until the time of his death in July of 1967. Mr. Malm was a wonderfully warm and friendly man who took great delight in the simple pleasures of life and he was completely devoted to his family.
