Our sponsors, Miss Helen Morgan, Mrs. Charlotte Low- ery, have excluded many of their regular activities for work on our yearbook, Many of us have spent sleepless nights outlining the work ahead of us, but we all feel that we have gained unlimited in- formation from our work on the Annual. ln working on this l9'53 edition of the Thomis- ana we have endeavored to create a yearbook that will serve two purposes-to entertain you now and to serve through the years as a record of your school life here at Thomasville l-ligh, We hope that we have succeeded in our task and we hope that you will enjoy this volume of the Thomisana as much as we have enjoyed producing it. Although it required hard work, head- aches, and a few frantic nights before the deadline, it was not in vain.
