ASS I3 The time has come for us to part, From things so dear to our heart. The best of times we have known, ln a scholarly way we have grown. We the graduates ot nineteen titty three, The best of students we have tried to be. We all may not have met with success, But we have done our level best. Some of us will go on to college, To gather up a little more knowledge. The rest of us will stay around, To make the citizens of our town. Thomasville High's classrooms and halls, They no more will hear our noise and calls. But there will be those to take our places, They'll be the same type, but won't have our faces. We all have had fine teachers and advisors, They have made many of us much the wiser. We owe to them a lot of praise, They will be remembered the rest of our days. So as we seniors close our high school careers, To Thomasville High we give nothing but cheers. And we hope that those who advance in the ranks, Will leave to Thomasville High nothing but thanks. Donald Foust Class Poet 26 ni
