STAR STUDENTS Miss Vanessa Smith is the 1984 Senior STAR Student at the Thomastown Attendance Center. She received the STAR Student Award presented by the Mississippi Economics Coun- cil for participation in the Student-Teacher Achievement Recognition Program. The award is given in recognition of the participant's ACT score, superior academic performance, and in appreciation of educational efforts. Miss Smith named as her STAR teacher, Mr. Wisdom Martin, instructor of math and phys- ics at TAC. Miss Smith is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Smith of the Ofahoma community.
