Nancy I. Zagurski If you want something very badly: let it go free. If it comes back, it's yours forever; if it doesn't, it wasn't yours to begin with. As we walk down this hall it is full of light, we are protected, sheltered from the outside world, we see a door and as we get nearer the door begins to open, but it opens into darkness and the outside world. And as we keep walking it opens wider and wider, soon we will be on our own. no longer protected. Then suddenly we will be outside that door looking back as the door slowly closes, knowing we will never get back inside.
