LACK OF SCHOOL CLUES It has been noticed by the writer that while this high school has athletic teams and a dramatic club, it is decidedly lacking in other forms of school organizations and clubs. There is probably no one reason for this but there are several or many. Doubtless, the outstanding reason is the lack of cooperation on the part of the pupils. It is possible that the thought of being successful in forming a club and keeping it running has been an important reason. The only thing that can be said in regard to this feeling is that a thing is never proven until it has been tried. Examples of successful clubs formed this year are the Commercial Club, the Press News, and the Current Forum Club. It is apparent that if clubs like these can be successful certainly others can. There are mere than enough pupils and just as many purposes. As a last word, remember that a little cooperative spirit and plentiful help from a willing faculty will make a club go a long ways. 14 Christopher Martin '37
