K I B E D A 19 4 2 Foreword The other day the words of a popular tune caught my attention, especially the words which jingled into lines saying : “Time was — when we had fun on the school -yard swings, When we exchanged graduation rings — one lovely yesterday .“ Those words — that thought — from a simple, little tune which will probably not outlast the season, affected me suddenly, and deeply. Soon we shall be looking back upon our school days as “lovely yesterdays — only wonderful memories. It is our hope that you , in turning through the following pages, will be affected just as deeply by these memories. If so, then our greatest wish will have come true.
