Among the guests present are Metropolitan Opera tenor MICHAEL MAC DUFF, baby food multi- millionaire STEFAN GERBER, famous football coach RAY PICKLER, best-selling author CAROL BROOKS, cele- brated artist LENORE BABA, and foreign diplomat SHARI GOLDEN. Another social event was the opening of the Blue Swan Ballet. It is produced by MIKE BERTZ and directed by RICHARD BIRCH. The prima ballerina VIRGINIA HANSEN, co-stars with the brilliant male success ALLISON EWING. New York critics hail the performance as the greatest since Swan Lake. On the sports page tonight, we see the United States take first prize in the World Olympics of 1964. Among those who helped us gain our victory were: track star DICK BANNISTER, English Channel swimmer DIANA ROWE, and champion high-divers ELIZABETH PROSER and JOHEL TUTAK. On the international scene, we find JUDY MARKOFF, President of the United States, confering with the Am- bassador of Spain BOB VALDEZ, on the matter of bring- ing the sport of bullfighting to this country. Attending the meeting is the famed bullfighter ERNESTO ALMAGUER and his fellow matadors, TOMMY KEZIOS, BILL TAYLOR, and PAUL KULP. Meanwhile news from Hollywood tells us that pilot FLOYD NEEDHAM is flying the new movie rages JAMES NIELSON and SHERRY KAUFMAN to Tahiti, the location for their new movie, Tahitian Fire. It will be directed by LEE DIETZ, and produced by the up and coming pro- ducer ARNOLD LESTER. On the eve of their departure, a bon voyage party was given in their honor at the home of JUDY RUSSELL, famed gossip columnist. After the party, all the guests were taken for a spin in ROGER BURGESS' brand new 1964 helicopter. . . . FLASH! We have just received word that the first record recorded by the noted drummer RICHARD SIMON has sold over the million mark and famed violinist JURI EENMA will start a four month engagement at the Philharmonic next month. MARCIA DACIS, famer historian, has traced these famous and distinguished personages back to their graduation from Thomas Starr King Junior High School in the Winter of 1956.
