Jr t K. MK dS Jn Wemov 1940-1983 983-84 Senior C.fuii Parent from 977- 983 We possess fragile emotions for a father, husband, brother, son and dear friend who was recently taken from our lives, but will live in our minds and hearts forever. We all feel proud to have known, and to have loved him for the man he was. He was a loving father and husband, and was a brother to his friends. His love and guidance was ever present for his family, which sustained them through the good as well as the bad experiences and for this, they are grateful. The years that we knew K. 0. will provide a lifetime worth of memories. And we thank him for the memories. He was a true friend that could be counted on for help in time of need. And we thank him for helping. K. 0. was the type of person who was sensitve enough to ask how you felt, and cared enough to hear the answer. And we thank him for listening. c He always kept himself on the move, with a busy schedule, but always found time for loved ones. And we thank him for the time he gave us. He was a competitive person and always had such en- thusiasm in everything he did. And we thank him for giving his all. He was one of the very few people that shared with us three fundamentally important things: good times, love, and close friends. We would like thank K. 0. Kippenberger for sharing, caring, holding, laughing, crying, teaching, understanding, respecting, touching, and loving each and every one of us. We all loved you. 2 nu. udi Jihd The annual staff gratefully dedicates its 1984 edition of “the Terrier” to Mrs. Vicki Litsch, an untir- ing supporter of the youth in Thomas. Vicki’s willingness to help us achieve our goals is comparable to the Olympic spirit of winning. She is always willing to lend her creative ideas to any school or outside-of-school activities that we may have. Vicki is outgoing and attends as many school activities as possible. She is a true loyal fan of the Thomas Terriers. Vicki is also a devoted wife and mother of five. Her smiles give you the sense of her friendliness and kindness she has for all people in her heart. 3 Football Play-off Assembly Tale Tale ... and just before lunch!!! Mr. D w a i n e Schneider Superintendent of Schools BOARD OF EDUCATION Mr. Richard Gray, President; Mr. Leon Lapel, Clerk; Mr. Jimmy Ice, Vice President; Mr. Malcolm Paty and Mr. Darrell Stinson, Members. 106 No matter how good our schools are or how good they have been, they must become even better tomor- row. Our schools must meet the educational needs of students in a fast changing world. What we teach and how well we teach it have a pro- found effect on how people feel about the schools in our community. Each day, we should ask ourselves how we can make our schools more effective. Mr. Eddie Beck, Grade Principal 107 Mr. Jim Litsch, principal of junior high and senior high school, has been in the Thomas School system for 16 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and Master’s Degree from SWOSU and a Professional Cer- tificate in Education from OU. Mr. Litsch’s philosophy of educa- tion goes along with our yearbook theme: “The most important thing is not to win, but to take part; not to have conquered but to have fought well.” MRS.
