DEDICATION We, the members of the Thomas Annual Staff, would like to take this opportunity to show our sincere appreciation to the wonderful people of the Thomas Community, The overwhelming support of all our school’s activities by the patrons have greatly benefited our accomplishments and successes as a school. We feel proud that we have people in our community that eare about our school. To these good people, we hereby dedicate this annual. The Annual Staff 4 ADMINISTRATION SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE It is with extreme pleasure that I commend the Annual Staff and Mrs. Haggard for the excellent quality of this publication. It will be a treasured history of the Thomas Public School System for those who are a living part of the school and community. I wish to commend the business community for their advertising support. Also, the patrons and students who purchase copies of this book help make its publication possible. Truly, this accomplishment is not only a product of the Annual Staff and School, but it is also a product of the entire community. Congratulations to all. Yours truly, Dwaine Scheider Supt. of Schools 6 PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE The secret to life concerns attitude. As soon as one learns and realizes this and develops a good attitude, he is on the way to success, re- gardless of what he wants to do. Sacrifice is necessary to develop dedica- tion; to put up with the hard work, the extra hours, and the inconveniences; and the personal give-and-take” that is needed to achieve any degree of success. Establish worthwhile goals and learn that such things as preparation, patience, practice, perserverance, and prayer are absolutely essen- tial to be successful. Sincerely, Charles J.
