COLORS: Green and White MOTTO: We’re not afraid of tomorrow, for we have seen yesterday, and we love today. FLOWER: Red Rose This year's seniors started off their money making by working the concession stands at the football and basketball games. The senior play, Rest Assured, was presented as another of the seniors’ many projects. The seniors gathered together early in March to decide where they wanted to take the traditional senior trip. Twenty-six seniors and their sponsors, class parents, and guest. Mrs. Huffman left late Saturday on May 4th for Corpus Christi, Texas. On the way, they stopped at San Antonio to visit the HemisFair. While down at Corpus Christi, they went deep-sea fishing, toured a naval base, visited Padre Island, Mott's Dude Ranch, and the Aquarina at San Marcos. Compared to many other senior trip» in which the seniors returned with sun- burns, this year's seniors returned with colds, laryngitis, and three outbreaks of measles! The seniors of 1968 were a milestone in many ways. They were the first class to edit an annual and the last to receive their diplomas from Supt. K. K. Sweeney. On May 21, sixteen boys and twelve girls marched into the auditorium for the last time. This year's class decided to wear both green and white gowns. The Commencement speaker, Lt. Governor George Nigh, commented on the symmetrical class. The class of 1968 won’t be soon forgotten for they have accom- plished much and their honors are many, and they have left their mark for all to see. Right Mr. Wilson?
