HOMECOMING '88 Whew ! What a hecnc week of excmng amvities during Tj's homecoming celebration. The DECA Club sponsored many fun-fdled games and contests throughout the week such as a basketball toss. a bubble-blowing contest and a talent show Many students dtessed up for the Spin: days during the week, Congress held a door decorating contest for the teachers, each class went'all out in decorating its hall and most people agreed that it was one of the most spititcd homecoming weeks in years. Mrs. Haley won the teacher's door decorating contest. and the junior dass hall was chosen as the winner of the class division. . The famous Powder Puff Game was held on Wednesday, October 11 Both the maroon and gold teams trained hard for the exclusive event The gold team won with a score of 13 to 0. Homecoming King Reagan Hernandez was crowned by TV star Alf. alias Dt. Weeks The surprise boosted school spirit even more. The fmal event of the week was the successful defeat of Baytown Sterling With a score of 28 to 94 Seniot Kristi Floyd was Homecoming Queen.
