This is a phrase often heard during transition in the halls. Most parties are held when the parents are out-of-town. Once the word is out that your family is out of town, or that you are thinking of having a party, there are people 10 feet deep waiting for your door to open. The famous last words of parents as they leave are Be sure not to have a party But the first instinct is Party Time. Parties usually start out small, but often it seems as though everybody in PA makes an appearance. The concept of invitation only becomes virtually nonexistent. Becky Shockley stated i'When l have a party there's always several people who end up crashing. Some you don't mind as much because they're not there to cause trouble. But its the ones that just come for the refreshments really bother me. For parties that are invitation only it is difficult to invite everyone without some- 6 Parties tubovet YEA, WE BAD - Senlors Gary Parsley. Sometimes the pear ple who are left out show up anyway and join the fun, often unnoticed. The parties often continue in all hours of the night Sometimes fights break out among people from different schools. This usually happens when everyone gets bored. So to have a good party, be sure to have plenty of food, and things to do. During the year there were a few park- ing lot parties but they always seem to get broken up, because there are always troublemakers in the bunch. At some parties, games are played. Often they are made up as the night goes on. few of these games include quarters, Indian, Famous names, Poker, At the end of the year, many seniors get together and rent halls and have music played to celebrate graduation. Sometimes waking up the next day is the worst part because you never know what or who you will find around the house in the morning. For the person tubovel - BANG BANG. .Joln the gang 0! Srs. Sometimes things can get a little out of hand, such as phones getting broken, not to mention torn shower curtains. Trying to find the phone is bad enough but you discover you don't have a floor, it's the pits. says Senior Cheryl Arnaud. The problem of neighbors calling and complaining IS a problem most party per- sons have to deal with, This also leads up to the problem of the parents finding out from the neighbors, It's bad when your mystery neighbor of 10 years decides to become your parents' best friend just to rat on you. states Junior, David . ometimes punishment is a lot more harsh than anticipated. Just being in suspense of what your parents are going to do is punishment enough, Too bad your parents don't think that way.
