Math Department Meets Changing Times ADVANCEMENT IS THE keyword to characterize the mothe- matlcs courses offered to all students, whether their plans are to attend college or get a job immediately after graduating from hvgh school. Under the leadership of Miss Laverne MacMillcn, twelve teachers are included in the department. The mathematics courses offered are Algebra I and II, Geom- etry, Trigonometry, Elementary Analysis I and II, Consumer Mathematics. As a special attraction, Computer Mathematics was added to the curriculum during the year. Exceptionally high-ruted students are placed in advanced mathematics classes.
