Student Body ACTING AS REPRESENTATIVES from Their homerooms, Congressmen debate and vote on items concerning student representation at Thomas Jefferson The items acted on are then discussed in the Board of Governers composed of the principal, Congress sponsor, president, vice- president, representative-at-large, and secretary, If an item receives favorable comment, it will be put into effect. All actions of the Board are re- viewed to Congress. Elected in the spring by the student body in an election, Congress officers serve as a steering device while helping dIrect the actions of Con- gress.
