ART OF T.J.'$ STORY The last of the badmen were round- ed up Texas Day by the Annie Oak- Ieys of the Senior Class. In this in- stance would-be desperados were Jerry Gower, Steve Feltman, and Banker Phares. At last it's Check Day, May 23, and Seniors are beginning to realize that school days are almost finished. Last minute autographs are penned by Carol Sims, Ruth Stilwell, Vivian Dugas, Polly Duncan, Nelda Brab- ham. Senior Ball dresses require a lot of fitting before they are ready for the big night. Pretty seniors Betsy Byrd, Peggy DeJean, and Sue Ellen Knight can't resist a final inspection of their dresses. 2!

GOOD TIMES ARI I1 snowed! School was dismissed for an hour February 12, so every- one could have fun throwing snow- balls. I? was the first snow here since 1951. Out of the rock and roll crowd in TJ Dale Gothia has proved his 1alent by organizing a successful Combo that entertained in morning assem- bly, as well as at a number of social affairs for the high school set. Taxi to class! Just walking a boy to class during Twirp week was too uneventful for these Daisy Maes. FUN, WORK AND THRILLS . . Flying snow balls and wet clothes were the results of forty minutes of fun in the snow for T.J.'s studentse x .' quw W iwf x - II. The little bit of extra work tha1 Eddie Anders put in, a week before report cards, barely got him over the line. No moments are as Thrilling as those experienced by T.J. fans when forward Carroll Broussard re- covered the ball for the Yellow Jackets. 22
