At First . . . The First months of the 57-58 school year were filled with many things familiar to T-Jites ALL ABOU1 . happy things, dull things, and some iust plain enioyable things. in September through November, we enioyed Elvis, Millionaires, You Send Me, Dino and Tony, Ivy Leaguersl drag races, Sputnik, football games, Choir-Hussar-Band, and Drama practice, report cards, That'll Be The Day, Pal Joey, homework, pep rallies, weekends, dates, and the many other small things that made this part of school life fun. Who Yiall Gonna Ye For?! Timeis A,wasting! Caught in a serious mood by the eye of the cam- era was this group of T-Jites who crowded the Field House for the Odessa pep rally. Left to right are . . . uh, the Maroon and Gold Band was present, as usual, to provide the music, down- beat, and rhythm, which added so much to the rallies. Cafeteria butl sessions were a common sight at TJ this year. Left to right are Seniors: Gary Dor- sey, Walter Mitchke, Boyd Webb, Edward Zingie- man, Charles Horse Power Hoffpauir, and Char- lie Moncrief.

Get Up! W5 8:00 . . . Gentlemen! As always, the winter season lfootball sea- sonl was full of things To do. And . . . as always there was a contrast between 1he male and female doings. Some gals like Mary Sfraub found something humorous in every school activity-even Old Broken Nose, but all of Them enioyed posing for J.C. Peculiar to this time of year, TJ girls busied themselves with, Sam Cook, The Sad Look, 2-Karat rings, Revlon, Senior rings, and Cheyenne. . . but, egad, did you notice the change in spring? Their interests Then turned to future lawyers, engineers, and the like. Also included were, proposals, sororities, 1he wedding march, and, of course graduation. In '57-'58, TJ's ladies were usually found . . . in the way lmost of The Timel, at The beauty parlor, slum- ber parties, and, on sunny days, invariably at some practice or another.
