PHYSICAL EDUCATION To Derefop Sporfmzmzrhip Thomas jefferson High believes in developing bodies as well as minds. Both the girls' and the boys' physical education classes offer students many opportu- nities in their favorite sports. For the boys there are football, basketball, base- ball, track and field events, While the girls engage in such events as basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, and speed ball. The staff of ten teachers is always busy at work scheduling various contests that aid in the strengthening of the character as well as the bodies of those participating.
