Guides TJ's Big Moments The advisors of Thomas Jefferson have a schedule that fills every minute of the day. Managing the affairs of such a large school is no easy iob and requires many hours of counseling with the faculty and students. Students are aided in making decisions about courses and college entrance. Big moments come when they see prob- lems solved successfully. lege San Marcos I8 MR. B. M. The Jackets started off with a bang with Jean Rawlinson locating Kenneth Watler in the end zone after a beautiful double reverse and lateral. Charles Melancon, the grand warrior all night, missed the conversion. Later in the first quarter Rigden's 46 yard kick was wiped out by Williams' 49 yard runback and once more the Jackets were on the move. A bristling third quarter urge pulled the under- dog Tors into the high light of Class 8-AAAA. The Tors defense was equal to the occasion and as a result the Jackets had the ball only twice in the second half. Tired, dirty, willing and happy were Bruce Hendrickson, Lamar Hebert, Gene Hargrove, J. W. Beal, and Floyd Dussetschleger who paved the way for Charles Melancon and little rubber legged Gabe Urbina.
