l Dear de, X, y, and Z Jlflaffismafica Dbsflazfmsni Lately, much stress has been put on the importance of all mathe- matics, algebra, and geometry and it is found that the number of students enrolling for these classes is steadily increasing. Although the value of X, Y, and Z, discourage most students, some survive and these brave souls face geometry and trig classes, pref paring for problems in the future. Mechanical drawing, taught by Mr. Roy Hague, is a popular course esepecially for boys and the ever increasing need for compasses, rulers, and T-squares goes on. Mr. Williani Stewart Sponsor: Basketball Miss Estelle Butler Sponsor: Honor Society Averages, Class Day fanguagss Esfaazbmenf Both a cultural and practical course is the two years of Latin which students take from Mrs. Verta Cox. In accordance with this the Classical Club has been organized. It sprang from suggestions offered at the Latin Forum in Tallahassee which a number of Jefferson Latin students attended. Spanish, taught by Mr. Rick Zabaldo, seems to be very entertaining as it is rumored Qand you can believe this onej that the second year students are required to speak only Spanish in that period. Some fun! Sponsor: - Mrs. Verta Cox Sponsor: Monticello, Quill and Scroll, Classical Club Mr. Ricky Zobaldo Key Club
