SENIOR CLASS OFFICER CLAUDE WILSON DONALD YOUNG GERTRUDE WISDA P'rc'sidr'nf Vice-President Secretary CLASS HISTORY As Sill y Sopbomorcs In our sophomore year we lived up to the meaning of our title-sophomoresg sophos Qwisej and moros Qfoolishj. Because we were just beginning a senior high school, there were no senior high student body otlicers. Our council activities were governed by the junior High president, Doris Polk, while the traiiic was directed by the vice-president, Charlotte Curry. Marcelo Maseda ably captained our football team. We Had Only One More Year During the first half of our junior year Bill Sadler and Johnny Black were president and vice-president of our student body. Elsie Cooper and Charlotte Curry were elected heads of our student council and traffic court for the second semester. Darrell QD.A.j Borders was captain of the football team. For the first time we elected class oflicers. Donald Young became president, while Claude Wilson was our vice-president. We Came, We Saw, We Conquererl At last we were the dignified seniors We had dreamed of becoming. Jefferson was gaining attention now that it was a complete senior high seniors who sought to set an example for the sc During the first semester joe Leone and Walter I ning were our class president and vice-president. C Wilson was head of the Student Council with II Stoun as vice-president. In the student council ele for the second part of the year, oflicers chosen to 3 our student activities and traffic were Tony Rocha and Olga Martinez. Jack Borden was football captain. We elected Claude Wilson and Donald Young president and vice-president of the senior class. To represent us at Rotary and Lion's Club meetings we chose Lawrence Gunter and Claude Wilson for the first semester and Donald Young and Claude Wilson for the second sem- ester. Our rifle team consisting entirely of seniors, won first place in the Fourth Corps Area Intercollegiate Rifle Match.
