Facult Life is a continuous cycle which stops for no one. Everyone wants to live life to its fullest, but many are not able to do so because they have not had the proper guidance. Whether it be a baby or an adult, everyone needs a helping hand at one time or another. A high school student may think he knows everything until he takes one step in the wrong direction and finds himself looking hope- fully toward his parents for help. Little does he realize that he is always receiving help from his school as well as his parents. High school teachers must be able to give a student both book sense and, to an extent, some common sense. At Thomas JeFferson the teachers take an interest in each student's problems. In this way a student feels that he always has a guiding hand to which to turn. High school gives one more than prepara- tion for college or jobs, it gives him a better understanding of life, problems he will face, and most important, a knowledge of himself. Those who respect the school rules make good citizens, and those who learn the meaning of friendship by having friends make true friends. Today we are living in a world of turmoil. If we would heed the advice of others maybe we might be able to advance in a way that would bring credit to ourselves, our families and our school.
