lj A.,...,,.......,. ,,,...,.....,A,.,...,A...,,,., M ONTICELLO 1938, ,,,, ,,A,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,A,,,,,,,A, K 1 l Mr Orville Orr Mr Orr started his studies as wrestling coach assistant football coach and eco nomics teacher in place of Mr Huvh F Seahury in the fall of 1937 The senior class elected htm co sponsor of their class and he at once took a great interest in the annual Thus for his interest in the boolc his geniality and general popularity it was decided that he should be the other to whom the annual should he dedicated So it was that the two facultv sponsors of the senior class came to have the Monti cello dedicated to them and let it here be said that they have been the inspirincr ele ment that has made the Class of 38 what it is Miss Frances Datesman Miss Datesman came to Thomas Jefferson as an American History teacher in the spring of 337 to replace Miss Esther Ehmke. In the fall of '37 Miss Datesman was unanimously chosen as a sponsor of the senior class. Immediately she hegan to whip the class into shape by putting over n suc- cessful, formal Christmas dance, and then directed one of the best Road Shows T. has ever seen In April 19:8 Miss Dates man left Thomas efferson to become Mrs Virgil Tacy but before she took her vows she was elected by the annual staff to he one of the teachers to whom the Nlonti cello would he dedicated She was decided as one because of her invaluable service to the Class of 38 J . ! ij ...i.aa.............a,,aaaaa...............,...,aa...Ya..ai......
