WVQQ X This day will be a memorial To all from Jefferson High It now serves us its purpose To bid good luck and goodbye. We'll start with Mrs. Morris With a keen librarian's diet Taps a solo with her pencil To keep the pupils quiet. Next, Mr. Small. a vitamized one Large in spirit and quick of hand Fills his day with musical job As he leads the orchestra and directs the band. Oh yes, that's Mr. Pufnak With his curly hair and smile He's a whiz with commercial subjects His brain. an office file. Yes, that is Mr. Reynolds Without the curly hair I guess the reason for it Is too many brains are there. Miss Bird is next on the list. Cute and full of fun But every time you crack a smile She has you on the run. To each and every person We introduce this one It's Mr. Parker, our principal He sure was lots of fun. 5. How stately that gentleman looks How true his disposition With a Bible and his math books Mr. Titus stands in position. There's Miss Wilson with her piano She makes the keyboard ring It was due to her capability That our choruses now sing. Her little jokes and good manners Her love of class get togethers Showed us that Mrs. Stefanik Was historian in any weather. Mrs. Guesman sits and sweetly smiles Or quietly nods her head And tells us that the library is out Until our lessons we have read. Mr. Smith, the prankster of the school Keeps the class from being boring For without his jokes and wise cracks It wouldn't be enduring. Mr. Mancusco, the coach of the school Helped our team to win And when the score was turned around He took it on the chin. How to get the daily meals In one big yearly lesson Miss Shomo starts the day at once To get her class in session.

'Maid Look out for Mr. Marriner And his mathematical sight He'd tell you in the wink of an eye If all your problems were right. Mrs. Vance is next on my list, A lover of themes, no sass But without her daily persuasions I'm sure we would not pass. Mr. Biery, a fine old chap Knows the correct way to hold a bat He's very strict, says the boys But he says they'1'e not playing with toys. Bob Titus, assistant principal Known to us also as a friend Proved helpful from the beginning And stuck by us 'til the end. Through all the principles of chemistry Mr. Iams has seen us through He taught us much in Physics Through his teaching, our knowledge grew. Mr. Taylor, a brilliant teacher Taught science. and he yearned That the year after we have departed Weill remember all we have learned. We listen to the jolly laughter From Mr. Husovsky's typing class And we always will remember His willing hands helped us to pass. Recite for me the Constitution Answer these questions in refrain His Law was quite a class And so was Mr. Crayne. A lover of tiny ornaments A class you're glad you sat in Miss Inghram was a whiz with Spanish And better still with Latin. A typewriter, pencil, and note book Are what Miss Gwynn sure needs To take some office dictation And type our high school's creeds. Mrs. Garner, a believer of the rights Harbors the friendliest way That is of saying what you believe And of believing what you say. He knows his farm equipment His wits are as sharp as a tack No need for further discussion You know him as Mr. Black. We won't stop with the teachers We'll remember the janitors too Through rain and snowy weather They always saw us through. Through new ambitions may fill our days And years go sliding by No memories could be much happier Than days spent at Jefferson High.
