The team, supported by eight returning lettermen, A, had even higher hopes for 1979. The 25-member squad attended the Bel Airtournament March 15, 16, and 17. Five players who will probably be highly favored in district competition are catcher Danny Arrieta, right field Herman Contreras, second base Andy Bejaranoq and pitchers Steve Roddy and Manny ViIIalobos, said Coach Silva.
