Where Did He Come From?. . . T-l3ird's Rich Runs Over Top-Rated Defense The game opening kickoff was received by the T-birds and was fumbled but recovered quickly by the T-Birds. The Foxes held and forced them to punt. Jeff received the ball on the 39-yard line but failed to score as the T-Bird defense refused to let them penetrate. The game kept showing great defense by both teams. With the clock ticking down, Coronado's best running back Forrest Rich C335 scored on a 66-yard run. The extra point was missed ending the quarter with a score of 6- O. The Foxes had last possession in the first quarter going into the second. With the Foxes still in command of the ball, they tried to penetrate but were held, On the next possession by the T- Birds, their drive was ended by an interception made by Wil- lie Aguilar C25. This attempt to score also failed, giving the T- Birds the ball again which led to another score by Forrest Rich C335. This time they went for a 2 point conversion and succeeded making the score 14-O Coronado, going into half- time. ln the third quarter, Forrest Rich C335, scored again. As soon as the Foxes regained the ball they went to work on a drive lead by Alex Garcia C325 and Charlie Martinez C315 for the Fox's first score. Alex Garcia C325 was the back who plunged in for the score. ln the fourth quarter, the T-l3ird's running back Forrest Rich C335 scored again making this his third touchdown in the game. The crowd seemed settled down, but not the T- Birds, as late in the fourth quarter the T-Birds scored again, terminating the game with the score of 35-7. Fidel Martinez C235, punted many times averaging good yards on each punt. This put the T-birds in bad field position. Ralph Medrano C125 rolls out to complete a pass. Despite the loss Ralph played a good game. George Garcia C215 is being wrestled down slowly as he put up a good fight to add more yards to his reception. Without finding a clear receiver, Ralph Medrano C125 keeps it making the first down. , N. ...E .L ,Q ,..,
