Junior Council Heads Successful Year initiative and enthusiasm were shown by the Junior Council led by Daniel Barraza, president, lsela Acosta, 1st vice-president, and Lucita Bust-amante, 2nd vice-president. We had various money-raising projects such as car washes, bake sales, and candy sales, expressed Tony Licon. Sophomore Council Promotes Spirit Mickey Cabrera, Delia Bustamante, Annette Corral, and Dolores Gomez discuss previous fund raising projects. A We got spirit, yes we do, we got spirit! l-low about you? Class of '81 ,' Class of '81'. . .! These pep yells were among all the other yells in our weekly pep-assemblies. Competi- tion between class spirit seemed to have always been the highlight of our assemblies. Council meetings were held to encourage students to com- pete in class yells. Among these classes were Jefferson's future class of 81 The Sophomore Council worked very hard to achieve two goals. Their two main goals were: to promote spirit within the Sophomore Class, and to strengthen the Sophomore Council. Their fund raising projects included, cupcake sales, candy sales, mes- sages, and a successful dance con- test.
