sa-K Always around to befriend the senior class was their sponsor Mrs. Stephenson. 'The Turnout Was Fantastic The turnout and involvement of this year's Seniors was fantastic! com- mented Richard Solis, Senior Council co-president. Among the many changes in the year's agenda was the moving of the Junior-Senior Prom to second quarter. This was done because the bulk of Senior activities usually take place dur- ing third quarler leaving very little time and money for the Prom. The Council was involved in many money-making activities. Some of these activities were Back-to-School and End-of-School carnation grams and gift mail, too. The main purpose of these projects was to pay for their chief expenditures, such as the Prom, the yearbook page, and the annual Senior gift to the school. The prime factor in the council's success was their great sponsors. Miss Jeannie French and Mrs. Doro- thy Stephenson were fun to be with. They participated in the activities with us, making us feel so much closer to them. Miss Worsham also helped us a great deal, said Margie Ramirez.
