Stage Band A World Without Music ls Like a Tree VVi'thOLl't Leaves Modern Dance played an important part around school this year. They added extra entertainment at school functions such as Homecoming, Mardi-Gras, and the Beauty Pageant. l feel very excited about Modern Dance, I dont know how to express myself, said Esther Jaurequi. This was Mrs. Gina Attel's first year of teaching at Jefferson. l've seen a lot of progress in the girls since school started, expressed Mrs. Attel. She loves teaching and dancing. Accord- ing to Ceci Medina, 12, dancing is a way of expressing your feelings. Modern Dance Officers are: Presi- dent, Eva Roberts, Vice-President, Darlina Villa, Secretary, Pat Flores, Treasurer, Dianne Chacong Historian, Velia Grado, and Reporter, Anna Mon- tavlo.
