if ie K , 'Oscar de la Rosa, Sports Co-Editor, relaxes for a while after working hard on deadline. Lefty Yearbook Staff. Editors hurriedly cooperate with one another in order to meet a deadline. Through Thick 'n Thin, but We Got It In lt was one wild and wacky year for the El Capitan staffers. To start the year off, the staffers nearly got arrested one weekend. lt seems that walking through the hall set off the alarm. Security sent a guard to see what the trouble was. That very same weekend, Mr. Towne's door was found open by the Principal. Because they used the door to come in, it was assumed that they left it opened, though they had locked it. They nearly lost their weekend privi- leges because of this. interventions by Mrs. Summersgill won them the keys to the hall door and helped them keep their privileges. With these little episodes surprising or not but the book did come out. Weekends and late nights were routine forthe staff. Along with music, much laughter and cooperation the work was done. What really helped was the great backing and help they received from their FANTASTIC sponsor Mrs. Summersgill, and their GREAT repre- sentative lvlr. Don Contrell.
